Thursday is our last day to work on the essays and projects. Bring with you work to do!! Remember your essay is due Monday and your projects are due the same day. We will start presenting on Monday. Order will be chosen randomly.

Make sure you are filling out the steps checklist. Remember to date when you completed the questions and turned in the parent letter.

You should be working on the essay in class. A work cited sheet is mandatory.

Last day to work on essay or do project work in class will be Thursday. We may not have computers available Thursday so come to class ready to work on project as well as the essay.

Due Mon: Read pgs. 188-191 in your textbook and answer the guided reading questions. These questions were given to you in a handout; they are not in the textbook.

Due Mon: Complete your neighborhood map. This map must contain your home, a key, and a compass. Don't forget to focus on your assigned type of map (political, physical, regional,thematic).




Due Mon: If you did not finish your essay in class please do so over the weekend. Use your graphic organizer as a guide. No student should be spending more than 10 mins to complete this. If you find yourself working longer please look back over the organizer. You may be writing too much.

Today you received your textbooks. These textbook will stay home, and a class set will be provided. Please look through your textbook and make sure you still agree with the condition I recorded. You are responsible for the condition of the books so again please make sure I'm aware of any graffiti inside the book.
